PRESQUE ISLE – William John Michaud, 80, died Easter Sunday April 8, 2012, at Cary Medical Center, Caribou. He was born Feb. 26, 1932, in Caribou, son of Frank and Sophie (Michaud) Michaud.

William served in the U.S. Army from 1954 to 1956. He worked as a farm hand for Sterling Bagley for a number of years, and most recently for Cavendish Farms. He was a member of the American Legion, Presque Isle.

He is survived by his wife, Jeane D’Arc Michaud of Presque Isle; a son, Keith and his wife, Vicki, of Chapman; a daughter, Brenda Michaud of Presque Isle; four grandchildren, Mark Michaud and his wife, Andrea, April Michaud, Brian Michaud and his wife, Shawna, and Dawn Larrabee and her husband, Kyle; a great-grandchild, MacKenzee Michaud; three sisters, Iva Sparks of Caribou, Anna Quist of Auburn and Leona Petroski of Enfield, Conn.; and two brothers, Arthur Michaud of Caribou and Leonard of Hermon. He was predeceased by his parents; a son, Darryl Michaud, in 1981; three brothers, Joseph, Alfred and Guy; and a sister, Alice Lagasse.

Friends may call 9-10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 12, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Parish of the Precious Blood with the Rev. Raymond Morency, celebrant.
