CLIFTON – Patricia Anne Bothwick Grant, L.P.N., 82, of Springy Pond, found peace and contentment April 10, 2012, at Davis Estates, Machias. She was born July 12, 1929, to Carl Whitney Bothwick and Rachel Margaret Doane Bothwick. She married Alton R. Grant, June 12, 1959.
Patricia was predeceased by her father in 1971; her mother in 1988; and various relatives and friends. Survivors included husband, Alton; sons, Gary S. Grant and wife, Cindy, of Clifton and Alan C. Grant of Clifton; daughter, Lisa Watson and husband, Cameron, of Searsport; grandchildren, Scott and wife, Mallorie, Kristopher and Alana, all of Clifton; great-grandsons, Kayleb, 3, and Damon, 8 months, both of Clifton; sister, Barbara Werkowski and husband, Robert, of Brewer, and their three daughters and their extended family; brother, Franklin D. Bothwick of Bangor; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews of several generations; and one aunt, Barbara Doane of St. Petersburg, Fla.
Private family services will be in accordance with Patricia’s wishes. Her family suggests memorials helping research to fight breast cancer and Alzheimer’s disease, and any nursing scholarships.
