BANGOR, Maine — A 20-year-old Bangor man was arrested Saturday night after police were called to High Street to look into a report of a disturbance.
When they arrived, they reportedly found John Devine Jr., whom police described as a transient, had been disorderly and were told that he allegedly threatened a woman.
Officers also found him in possession of a concealed weapon, specifically a knife in a sheath attached to his belt, Roach said.
Devine was charged with disorderly conduct and carrying a concealed weapon and then taken to Penobscot County Jail.
Devine was arrested last November after he allegedly walked out of Shaw’s supermarket on Main Street with a cart of items he had not paid for. At that time, he was arrested on charges of theft and violating the conditions of his release from a prior arrest, according to story recently published by the Bangor Daily News.

I used to go to school with this kid, this article doesn’t really surprise me.
There was money for bail but not groceries?

So if it is in your pocket, it’s carrying a concealed weapon, I get that. But when you are carrying it in a sheath attached to your belt, how is that concealed? How are you supposed to carry knives? Legitimate question too.
Watch out boy scout troops . Them scouts are a bunch of criminals.
