MADAWASKA – Winifred Ouellette, 92, passed away April 23, 2012, at a Van Buren health care facility. She was born Oct. 7, 1919, in Connor, daughter of the late Cyrill and Adele (Martin) St. Pierre.
She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary, Madawaska, and Daughters of Isabella, St. Thomas Circle No. 546. She was a very active member of Forever Young Club, Madawaska.
Winnie is survived by one daughter, Della Levesque and husband, Eldon, of Phoenix; three sons, Robert Ouellette and wife, Caroline, of Van Buren, Philip Ouellette and wife, Martine, of Cromwell, Conn., and Francis Ouellette and wife, Mary, of Plainville, Conn.; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Edmay Beaulieu of Caribou. She was predeceased by her husband, Claude J. Ouellette; one grandson, Robert Ouellette Jr.; and several siblings.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday, May 4, at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, where family and friends may offer their condolences 9 a.m. until time of the service.
