BREWTON, Ala. – Mrs. Sheila Fernald Blakely passed away Monday, April 30, 2012, in Brewton, Ala. She was born Feb. 7, 1941, in Millinocket, to Raymond and Doris Fernald.
She graduated from George W. Stearns High School, Millinocket, and Husson University, Bangor. She retired from Great Northern Paper/Georgia Pacific with 30 years of service. She was a member of First Congregational Church of Millinocket.
Sheila is survived by her husband, Robert Blakely of Brewton, Ala.; son, Matthew Blakely of Birmingham, Ala.; sisters-in-law, Barbara Page of Brewton, Ala., and Dawn Libby of Veazie; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Heartfelt thanks are given to the staff at West Gate Village and Dr. Elizabeth Low for their special care and attention.
