MACHIAS and PORTLAND – A memorial service for Robert H. Foster, 77, of Hope Avenue, Portland, who died Dec. 8, 2011, in Portland, will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, May 12, at Centre Street Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, Centre Street, Machias. Burial will be private at Longfellow Cemetery, Machias. A reception will be after the service in the church vestry.
