JONESPORT – Marilyn Louise Chandler passed away May 3, 2012, at her home. She was born March 2, 1951, in Addison, to Laurence and Hazel (Carter) Tucker.
Marilyn spent many years as a factory worker in the fishing industry. She had a special love for cats and was known for feeding as many as 20 at a time.
Marilyn was predeceased by her husband, Colin Chandler; her parents, Laurence and Hazel Tucker; her in-laws, William and Phyllis (Huntley) Chandler; brother-in-law, George Emerson; and sister-in-law, Marie Chandler. She is survived by her daughter, Hazel Louise Chandler; sisters, Ramona Emerson of Jonesport and Kathleen Call and her husband, Fredrick, of Harrington; brother, Glenwood Tucker and his wife, Charlotte, of Ellsworth; brother-in-law, Norman Chandler of Jonesport; special friends, Wendy Beal and her husband, Dickey, of Jonesport; and special friend and neighbor, Sylvia Alley of Jonesport. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, May 11, at Greenwood Cemetery, Jonesport. Arrangements by Bragdon-Kelley Funeral Homes, Machias.
