FORT KENT – Norma “Normande” (Bouley) Fournier, 81, died peacefully May 8, 2012, at a Fort Kent health care facility. She was born Jan. 14, 1931, in Wallagrass, daughter of Henry and Lila (Laferiere) Bouley.
Norma worked for more than 20 years as an Avon representative, and was a member of Fort Kent Senior Citizens Club and Catholic Order of Foresters. Her favorite pastime was playing cards at McDonald’s with her friends and meeting new people. She will be dearly missed by family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Brenda and husband, Terry Plourde, of Fort Kent; grandson, Blaise and wife, Dawn Plourde, of Levant; granddaughter, Erin Plourde of Fort Kent; and seven great-grandchildren, Daren Whitehead, Alanie Dullas, Emilie Dullas, Michaela Gagnon, Kelcin Dullas, Darby Plourde and Trinity Plourde. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Aldo Fournier, in 1957; and her brother, Norman Bouley.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday, May 11, and 8 a.m. until time of service Saturday, May 12, at Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. Committal services will be after at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Wallagrass.
