PORTLAND, Maine — Ron Paul supporters in Maine, who less than two weeks ago staged what has been called a takeover of the state GOP convention, said they continue to stand behind the presidential hopeful even after he announced Monday he will not spend more money in pursuit of state primary victories.
In Maine, where the Texas congressman has built a fervent base of supporters, at least 20 of the state’s 24 delegates to the Republican National Convention will carry Paul banners. Many of those delegates told the Bangor Daily News on Tuesday the libertarian-leaning candidate’s Monday announcement has been widely misconstrued as a declaration he is ending his campaign.
In an email to supporters Monday, Paul urged his backers to remain involved in politics and to champion his causes.
“Moving forward, however, we will no longer spend resources campaigning in primaries in states that have not yet voted,” Paul said in his statement. “Doing so with any hope of success would take many tens of millions of dollars we simply do not have.”
“I encourage all supporters of liberty to make sure you get to the polls and make your voices heard, particularly in the local, state and congressional elections, where so many defenders of freedom are fighting and need your support,” he added.
“There was such a gross amount of media misrepresentation [Monday],” said Matthew McDonald, a delegate from Belfast and Paul supporter since 2007. “Any person with a fifth-grade education could read that [letter] and say, ‘He’s not quitting the campaign, he’s just not going to spend money on the primary states.’ But if you’ve been following him, you’d have seen that that’s been his campaign strategy all along, to focus on caucuses and conventions and earn as many delegates as he can.”
Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney is widely considered the frontrunner for the GOP presidential nomination. He was declared Maine’s top choice by the party establishment after edging Paul in a February presidential preference poll taken during municipal caucuses statewide.
But Paul said it was premature to put Maine in Romney’s win column, with the poll results trumpeted before several communities had a chance to caucus, casting initial doubt on the process.
Paul backers then filled the party convention on May 5 and 6, voting supporters Brent Tweed and Ron Morrell into the convention chairman and secretary positions, respectively. Under their watch, champions of Paul were tapped for at least 20 of the state’s delegate spots.
In states which hold caucuses, party members show support for nominees in open floor votes cast during community-level meetings. Most states hold primaries, in which party members go to the polls and cast secret ballots for their nominees — in many cases, delegates in primary states are pledged to the winner at the polls.
In caucus states, Paul has built his delegate count by organizing supportive rallies in local and state conventions — ensuring advocates for the congressman are chosen for the delegate posts — even after failing to win majorities in the caucuses. Paul is slated to speak this weekend in Minnesota, for instance, where he finished second in the February caucuses but will be represented by 18 of the state’s 24 delegates at the national convention thanks to strong showings in the state’s subsequent county conventions.
Ashley Ryan of South Portland, who was elected Maine’s new Republican National Committeewoman during the Paul-dominated convention here, said the congressman’s announcement Monday signals simply that he’s focusing on caucus states — like Maine — not that he’s waving the white flag.
“What we did in Maine has always been the goal,” she said. “The national campaign helped us out tremendously to get organized, but it really wasn’t about campaign advertising or videos. It was word of mouth, people volunteering, making phone calls and going door-to-door. Instead of spending few resources on the primary states, we’re devoting our efforts toward caucuses and conventions.”
“The strategy all along has been to accumulate as many delegates as possible,” said Pete “the Carpenter” Harring, a Paul delegate from Auburn who is credited with founding the Maine Tea Party. “I believe not spending money on primaries that may or may not ultimately benefit Ron Paul is the right idea.”
Bryan Dougherty of Bangor, another Paul delegate to the national convention, said the message of limited government embodied by the congressman has too much momentum to halt now.
“He’s already garnered a lot of delegates from a lot of states,” he told the BDN on Monday. “To throw money at television ads in primary states is kind of a waste in when it can be used to make sure we have parliamentarians at the conventions.”
According to The Associated Press, Romney has secured 973 of the 1,144 delegates necessary to become the party’s official nominee to challenge Democratic incumbent President Barack Obama in the fall. Former U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum from Pennsylvania and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich tallied 264 delegates and 130 delegates, respectively, before they dropped out of the race. Paul is now carrying 104 delegates.
All states and U.S. territories which hold caucuses already have done so. However, after Nebraska and Oregon on Tuesday, nine more states are scheduled to hold primaries between May 22 and June 26.
Ryan said Paul shouldn’t be counted out. She took a confident tone when describing the impact of Paul’s decision to step back from primaries.
“Once we win the nomination, we’ll have that much more money saved for the fall campaign,” Ryan said.

The delusional support for Wrong Paul devalues the viability of Rand as a future US Presidential candidate.
Not at all!!! You’d best watch your negative comments toward RON PAUL were all watching!
And ….?
What happens if you disagree with the Ron Paul cult? Do you model yourselves after the Nazis or the Chinese when it comes to dealing with dissidents?
Ron Paul supporters leave dissidents alone but shouldn’t have to pay their debt.
You will be attacked for not supporting “Dr. Paul” although it looks like you do support his son. I for one think the Ron Paul or nobody argument takes an equal 1% away from each candidates that your coming detractors will declare to be one in the same.
Paul’s opinions on foreign policy and the Fed are untenable positions in today’s world. Add the possible racism of his past to the equation, and I don’t see the love, and neither will independent voters.
I think Ron Pauls Ideals are attainable in todays world.. And someday come to pass.
Not today!
What about the racisim?
Ron Paul is the anti-racist. He is the only candidate speaking out about institutionalized racism in this country.
Dr. Paul is not a racist. Someone long ago wrote some things that were borderline racist when taken out of context. Dr. Paul was not the editor, nevermind the author. He has disavowed those statements even though his only offense was being a backseat publisher. Many publications out there contain opinions that the publisher does not necessarily hold including the BDN. Repeating false informatio does not make it true, it only detracts from the credibility of the person speading false rumors.
Dr. Paul spent his life caring for people that needed regardless of race. He would often do pro bono work for everyone that needed it. We need more Doctors like him today. We need a doctor like him to fix our ailing country.
He’s much less of a racist than Robert Byrd…and far less of a graft master. But you’re quite right about his foreign and monetary policies. He adds a lot of important things to the conversation, but he is not a President.
> but he is not a President
yet.
So who is? Romney, Obama? Or were you a Bush Jr fan? Funny how people nitpick every little thing about Ron Paul, speaking as tho our past Presidents have been these brilliant leaders or something.
Paul’s foreign policy is the one most non-connected American citizens support. (That would exclude media pundits, radio entertainers and political insiders of both parties.) That’s why polls have shown he gets more support from independents than Romney or Obama, and even takes a large chunk of the support of democrats away from Obama. Your desire to spread rumors about racism reflects the quality of your own character.
The questions concerning his newsletters, and his refusal to return a $500 donation from Stormfront do exist, whether you like it or not…I was just pointing it out. I did use the word “possible”. You seem quite quick to question my character because you disagree with me. What does that say about your character?
Those questions have been answered many times – you just refuse to accept the answers. And throwing in the word “possible” does not absolve you from this very obvious smear attempt. We’re all familiar with the “When did you stop beating your wife?” tactic.
Why can’t you give us some specifics regarding his “opinions on foreign policy and the Fed” and tell us exactly how they would be detrimental to the well-being of American citizens?
OK, whatever you say…as long as you continue to rip the GOP to shreds, I’m happy !
Rebuilding the GOP is not ripping it to shreds. It is reaffirming what it ‘says’ it is for rather than being a mirror of the democrats. I noticed that rather than give any supporting arguments like you were asked for, you deflect. I like that because people who read this will see your side’s arguments. Thank you.
Why should he return donations from anyone? Do you want Obama to return all the donations from banksters? They gave MUCH more than $500. Maybe he could prosecute the criminals if they weren’t funding his campaign and frankly, they are way more dangerous to our economy than “Stormfront”!
Actually, I find Obama’s track record on foreign policy abominable and his Fed- influenced debasement of the currency is an undeclared war on the middle and lower classes, plus future generations of American. His ability to continue murdering foreigners is the ultimate in racist policies second only to his continuation of institutionalized racism in this country since he is too weak to stand up to the entrenched special interests in “law enforcement”. He is a pathetic joke on civil rights.
Hey, nice theories, but it turns out they do “see the love”! Paul gets more Independent support than Romney *or* Obama in every poll that is taken.
Paul’s a loser and doesn’t deserve our sup0rt. Why doesn’t he just fold his tent and slink home?
Instead of clicking the “reply” button I clicked “like.”
The same war profiteers and bankers who bankroll Obama also bankroll the architect of ObamaCare. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over, but hoping for a different outcome.
If you weren’t so married to lame stream media, the guys who hide the truth from you, you would know that over a hundred thousand people attended Ron Paul rallies in April. Why would a candidate with such support fold his tent?
The GOP Politburo could not have backed a worst candidate for the GOP race than the closeted Democrat, big government protagonist and a personification of the 1% than Mitt Romney. The establishment elite are comfortable with a photogenic candidate in a silk suit, but they are out of touch with the 99%. By August Romney will be damaged goods. There is no enthusiasm for him at grassroots level. The best the party elite could do at my county convention to rally support for Ropmeny was to use the anybody-but-Obama mantra – what an indictment.
The Don Quiote of the Republican Party.
Not worthy of the title.
So original. Did you come up with that yourself?
I’ve never heard of Quiote. Even the spell checker knows Quixote though.
The detractors auto detract.
4 people plus the author were children left behind by the Maine public schools.
Rommey folks like being lied to.. It’s sort of like getting tucked into bed. that cozy feeling.
More like they have Stockholm syndrome and love their owners.
Ron Paul is honest and has integrity. He stands for what he believes in and has a right to his opinion. He is better than the politicians who believe in something, lie and tell you that they don’t and then, behind closed doors, do what they wanted anyway. Even though he may not be the right person for this election, I hope his character is contagious.
I would like to thank the BDN for showing some journalistic integrity with this piece.
I find it amusing that the press, which has totally ignored Dr. Paul’s wins in numerous states and propagandized us all with the AP’s bogus “delegate totals” now finds this memo front-page, hold-the-presses news. And then embarks on misrepresenting it.
Had those in the press bothered to even GLANCE at what was actually going on, nothing in this memo would shock or confuse them.
I must add, however, that this movement does not live or die with the candidacy of any one person. No. It is a movement to restore America and her liberties. Something the press apparently cares nothing about. It’s not like they actually NEED a First Amendment given the fact that for the most part, they print nothing which would offend the government.
numerous states? Which ones besides the highjacked Maine convention?
http://thereal2012delegatecount.com/
Nevada, Minnesota, Iowa, and Maine as far as delegates go so far.
Actually, if you have been keeping up with real news sources, almost every state that has had a state convention has been predominately Ron Paul so far. Including Romney’s home state of Massachusettes.
I hope the Paul folks succeed in making a mess at the Republican national convention, just as they did at the Maine convention.
im not sure what you mean by making a mess at the maine convention, it
was romney’s people who were trying to hand out fake ballots and confuse
everyone. how can you call having a majority “making a mess” of
things?
The public perception of the Maine Republican convention is that the whole convention was a mess — it was rowdy, contentious, and ran out of time; even the Senate candidates didn’t get a chance to speak. The public perception is that the Paul delegates took over, even though Romney had (officially) edged out Paul in the local caucuses.
Even the local caucuses appeared to be a mess, spread out over more than a week, with several held after the deadline.
Similar chaos at the Republican national convention would be a beautiful sight to behold.
maybe so but the chaos didnt come from ron paul supporters, like i said it was romneys people trying to spread mass confusion and stall the process in order to call in more romney supporters. they actually stalled the process long enough to get a copy of the ron paul delegate list so they could make an exact copy only replacing the ron paul delegates with romney delegates so that ron paul supporters would unknowingly vote for romney supporters as delegates. all of this has been captured on video and was spread around the internet. same thing happened in nevada that day also where ron paul won big time, which makes it seem as if it isnt just some romney supporters, but an actual “conspiracy” by the romney campaign.
You might be right — I wasn’t there. I’m sure the Romney people see it one way, and the Paul people see it another way. Good luck to you. I hope you fight it out at the Republican national convention.
For a man that talks so much about the Constitution he certainly doesn’t follow it.
really? care to elaborate? i think you would have a really hard time pointing out anything hes done that’s unconstitutional…
Care to enlighten us which amendment you are referring to?
What paranoid radical nonsense. All this silly foolish paranoia about “losing my liberties” as if the liberty burglar is lurking around every corner. And by the way, anyone who knows anything at all about constitutional history knows the U.S. Constitution was written to STRENGTHEN the national government and its authority given its ineptitude under the former Articles of Confederation. Of course facts and reason matter little to radical paranoid zealots.
“A government which governs least governs best” – Thomas Jefferson
BTW, what do you do for a living sir? I am a farmer, how about you come work with me for awhile and see all the stuff the govt has it’s nose into when it comes to running a small business then come back here and tell me what you think about the “liberty burglar”, Land of the Free? What a joke.
Jefferson said that before he was president. When Jefferson became president he purchased the Louisiana Territory from France, even though the Constitution never gives the federal government the power to purchase territory. The Louisiana Territory, at that time, stretched from present day Louisiana all the way north up the Mississippi River to Minnesota, North Dakota, and Montana, and west to the Rocky Mountains.
Because there is nothing in the Constitution that makes this purchase legal, shall we give all of it back to France? Shall we give Alaska back to Russia?
Jefferson’s view of the role of the federal government changed once he became president, and that seems to happen to almost all presidents. In the unlikely event that Congressman Paul becomes president (he and I have something in common — neither one of us will ever be president), what’s to say his view won’t change, just as Jefferson’s did?
Our liberties are being stolen constantly. How about indefinite detention without trial? How about the repeal of posse comitatus? How about free speech? The right to free assembly? Apathy is rampant.
The Posse Comitatus Act of 1878 (which was part of a grand political compromise that, in effect, removed federal protection from the freed slaves in the South, placing them at the mercy of white-run local governments) is actually still in effect. It was modified in 2006, but that modification was repealed in 2008, returning the law to its original status.
Free speech? We’re having this discussion in a public forum, aren’t we?
The right to assembly? The Tea Party on the right, the Occupy movement on the left, and lots of marches on Washington for all sorts of causes, are assembling all the time. There are frequent public demonstrations in Augusta, Bangor, Portland, and all over the U.S.
And even Congressman Paul holds plenty of public rallies. Nobody is telling you or anyone else that they don’t have freedom of assembly.
On the other hand, I agree with you that the Bush Administration did step way over the line with their detention of terrorism suspects without trial. As a candidate Obama promised to end the practice, but he signed a Defense Bill last year that contains a provision that allows the unlimited detention of suspects without trial — and I believe this is a blatant violation of the Habeus Corpus protections in the Bill of Rights.
I agree with Congressman Paul on this one. He is joined by a coalition of Democrats, Tea Party Republicans, libertarians, and the ACLU, who believe (as I do) that this provision is unnecessary and is a violation of our Constitutional protections. They are proposing a repeal of this provision, and I agree that it should be repealed.
Why?
Dr. Ron Paul has given me a wake up call from the apathy that prevails in this country when confronted with the massive issues facing us all. Because he took a step in the right direction by making me aware of the “real issues” and not the fog screen that is presented by the political forces and enhanced by the media, I have become involved. Today, I am but one conservative liberty minded voice at the local level town and county meetings that was not there before. There are others like me who are helping by forming positive outcomes in areas where we live. One thing I have learned from his influence is that there is real strength in numbers.
“Let the revolution begin.” ~ Dr. Ron Paul
Gopher…troll, they’re all the same
Ron Paul supporters have no choice but to continue with our support for Ron Paul. The other two candidates Romney and Obama are not an option. Both of them are big government, Goldman Sachs candidates that have no problem taking away freedoms in the name of security.
No one but PAUL!!!
No one but PAUL!!!
No one but PAUL!!!
Very good job of objective reporting, Seth. A rarity in journalism these days.
Look at all the neocons in full force today.
All of your criticizing Ron Paul’s approach to foreign policy must have served in the Armed Forces no?
If not, I am assuming you all will be joining the Military to go practice your foreign policy of choice?
I can link you up with your nearest Armed Forces Career Center! Just let me know when you are all going to start practicing what you preach!
“The times, they are a changin'”
GOOD MORNING AMERICA——RISE AND SHINE !
Welcome Seth, to the Maine political theatre. Where’ve ya been ?
Thank you for trying to explain the delegate/primary process.
One thing to note. In a convention state like ours, the rank and file elect the delegates to the national convention.
In a primary state, they are selected by the state’s established party elite.
I first saw Dr. Paul when he ran in 2008, and he opened my eyes and ears. I like many listened to news reports and “believed” alot of what was said and I like many was swayed who to vote for . Isn’t it funny that the mainstream media ignored him for so long and now they jump at the chance to say he dropped out, when he hasn’t . I admire the work and dedication of every Ron Paul supporter, supporters of liberty, life and freedom. This 52 year old Grandma will ONLY vote for Ron Paul.
Thank youuuuuuu
It’s too bad you all couldn’t have attended his Rally for the Republic. It was an awesome experience and a packed stadium.
I have seen the footage…gave me goosebumps.
I did march in DC on Presidents Day though and was hoping to go to the RNC too.
You should add me on FB!
“he opened my eyes and ears”
This sounds more and more like a cult…
Apparently, you’ve never had your eyes and ears opened, when you do someday, it’s an epiphany. Once you see, you can never unsee!
Vote fraud, yet another violation of our rights. The gov’t constantly violates our rights. They violate the 1st Amendment by caging protesters and banning books like “America Deceived II”.
They violate the 4th and 5th Amendment by allowing TSA to grope you.
They violate the entire Constitution by starting undeclared wars.
Impeach Obama, support Ron Paul.
Last link of “America Deceived II” before it is completely banned:

I see a Man that belongs to be in Control of the foundation of how our country was formed for the Wealth of all men ! Thru the Liberty to prosper and in equality of justice for all . I will not Stop For Ron Paul till I cast my Vote on 11/6/12 .For the lives that were lost for what they believed in . I support my Military but how can I support them 5 mil miles AWAY ! MY Son was the first foot on the Ground in Iraq . 28th Combat Support. ” Would not be fair to him If I Didnt go to fight for Him or the others “
No kidding.
If you support our Troops, you cannot keep sending them to die in useless and undeclared wars… I lost friends in Iraq!!!
Bring our Troops home!
An important shift has taken place in the thinking of the Ron Paul Revolution. The seeds for this shift have always been present but this must be the time for them to sprout and emerge from the darkness of incomprehension. From now on they will become increasingly visible as more people understand the principle of Liberty that Dr. Paul has been teaching for the past forty years.
The Constitution for the united States of America and the Declaration of Independence are unique documents enshrining the principle of Liberty that is missing from any other Constitution on Earth. From the beginning in the 1790’s this principle was under attack and even the first President George Washington succumbed to the siren call of centralising power under the careful tutelage of the first Secretary of the Treasury, Alexander Hamilton and his eminence grise Robert Morris.
Since that time the principle of Liberty has been gradually whittled away until today there is only a remnant of the nation who understand its meaning and its application to political life. This guiding principle has been the light on which Ron Paul has based his entire political career and it is this principle that is now beginning to shine ever more clearly in the minds of his followers. They have begun to realise that the plenary authority and responsibility to govern the nation belongs to them, the People.
In order to bring this to pass in reality it is now necessary to remove the governance structure that has been put in place very carefully and consciously over the past one hundred years in particular since the founding of the Federal Reserve System. It is this monetary system that has secured and enabled the growth of a fascist corporatist socialist government in America and moved the plenary governing authority from the People to the political classes (executive, legislative, administrative and judicial) who are in turn controlled by the extra-national owners of the banking and corporate cartels, the “special interests”.
This is the very definition of Tyranny. This is the principle of Liberty turned upside down. The Liberty principle is that each level of government must be restricted Constitutionally to limited authority and responsibility and that the People must be the final authority under God to appoint their representatives, magistrates and judges for limited terms and subject to recall. This makes the People free and in that freedom they acquire a degree of personal responsibility that they have never experienced in their lifetimes. It is this Liberty that is for many so frightening yet when fully embraced it endows the recipient with a true sense of worth and a desire to communicate this Liberty to everyone.
This is the reason why the Ron Paul supporters are so passionate and convinced of the justice of their cause. Their purpose above all is to restore their Republic and to set the People free. This is why Ron Paul has stated that he is not just running to get elected. He is running to change the course of history.
Thanks for the coverage.
By August Romney, the architect of ObamaCare, will be damaged
goods among conservatives who will be clamoring for a true
Constitutionalist. Cometh the hour, cometh the man.
Voters who want wars, torture, assassinations, “humanitarian”
bombings in oil rich countries, indefinite detentions, drone attacks
that kill the innocent, erosion of civil liberties, domestic war on the
people (drug war), out-of-control debt and spending, graft and greed,
crony capitalism, pandering to special interests, bailouts, more of the
same, must NOT vote for Ron Paul.
Voters who want peace, a humane foreign policy, restoration of civil
liberties, an end to the war on drugs, sound money, balanced budgets,
honesty, integrity and transparency in government, and a President
wholly committed to Constitutional government can vote for Ron Paul.
Ain’t that difficult a choice.
I think this video helps to support your view, check it out…
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HTDYHAyWR7A
Brilliant… it makes a mockery of the “anyone-but-Obama” slogan. Let’s swap Obama for his clone.
:-)
“I encourage all supporters of liberty to make sure you get to the polls and make your voices heard, particularly in the local, state and congressional elections, where so many defenders of freedom are fighting and need your support,” said Ron Paul.
He gets it.
Focus on these other races, because that’s where the real impact on our lives will be made.
I commend this paper on honest, in-depth, informative journalism. Seth Koenig displays a solid understanding of the system that is lacking in the national media. The article didn’t get down in the weeds on the AP’s projected delegate numbers, but otherwise great.
Dr. Paul’s decision to not expend resources unnecessarily is consistent with his fiscal conservatism. Perhaps that’s why I consider him to be the only candidate worthy of my vote. Let O and Tricky Mitt expend untold millions while slugging it out. Paul will arrive at victory with the dedicated support of his intelligent and informed supporters.
This Texas Delegate is going to smack people with my truth stick!
RP2012…
The blind following the blind. What a waste of votes chasing that old has been around. Up to speed Americans have put this guy in the review mirror quite a while ago. The rest of you should get a tune up and move on.
Ron Paul may not win the nomination, but his supporters were just voted into more than half of the county committee positions of the Maine republican party, which is happening in many other states too. Who did you say was blind?
Wasting a vote is voting for someone just because they are going to win in your mind. I don’t fear losing, if I keep my principals. If the winning team doesn’t support the values our country is built on, I don’t call that winning at all.
According to the Associated Press, Romeny has 973 Delegates. According to the Elected Delegates themselves, the total is quite different. While this is no secret, nothing has changed by Paul’s campaign manager letting on to Romeny supporters that they should think it is they who have this in the bag.
If not for the Rope-a-Dope, Forman should have easily beat Ali.
Those 973 Delegates do not have to vote for Romeny. They can either challenge their ‘bound’ status and vote their own minds or they can abstain on the first vote. This has been known to the establishment GOP which is why the establishment GOP has been using the tactics they have, of closing out Paul’s supporters in the selection process, which is all that matters when it is the popular vote means nothing. This is what has been causing the fuss Paul’s campaign manager has been trying to downplay even though it is it is the Paul people who are getting shut out from the selection process with questionable tactics from the establishment which is losing its majority and which favors Romney.
Paul’s campaign must accept the shenanigans because as egregious as these tactics are in barring Paul supporters from the delegate process, it is not election fraud because there is no election until November and as a private entity, the GOP isn’t actually subject to Federal Election Law.
This is no Beauty Pagent, it’s a fight – A Rumble in the Jungle – Romney is punching away as Paul, with his arms up and taunting, is leaning back on the ropes.
I think you are right. Romney is actually behind in the delegate count. Ron Paul is actually leading. There is just this big conspiracy out there trying to fool people…
This is definitly one of the best and most objective articles on this issue i have read; and I read a few…
Welcome to the Ron Paul Love-In. Do not disturb any further. These blissful swooners should have their privacy.
Republican Obama voters. They must want four more years of hell.
we just realize it doesnt really matter since mitt romney is exactly the same and funded by all the same groups/banks/big corporations. might as well vote for someone who ISNT for furthering the destruction of our republic, even if they cant win and it means obama does.
When are people like you going to get it, that childish “threat” does not work on us, you don’t want Obama to win, then maybe it is YOU who needs to change and get behind Paul.
The rule 38 basically says Romney has less than 700 delegates… even that is a stretch.. Rombama or Oromney isn’t needed or wanted. The FED and JPM being large wealth confiscators is going to be a Black Swan event… We only have a choice of more of the same or liberty and sound money.
delete
delete. somethings messed up with these comments i keep trying to respond to somone and it posts it as new?
RON PAUL has more than enough delegates today to deny WILLARD ” THE RAT ” ROMNEY the nomination on the first ballot.
The Ron Paul campaign can not compete against rigged voting in DIEBOLD vote counting machines, we can compete when people actually are counted in person.
Ron Paul…the republican Ralph Nader
We’d have been better off with Nader than Bush Jr, would have been better off with Perot than Clinton, and certainly better of with Paul than Obama or Romney. Funny how people like you laugh at “outsider” candidates, maybe go listen to some things people like Nader, Perot said back then, see if you’re still laughing when you realize how right they were.
WE’RE COMING FOR YOU RYAN HARMON .. you back stabbing bum.
You messed with the wrong people.
You use the Associated Press delegate count?
The AP count had Romney with Maine’s delegates, a couple weeks ago.
Just sayin’
May 17 Rise for Liberty Moneybomb at http://www.ronpaul2012.com !
That’s right kiddies, keep beating your heads against that wall!
I believe more and more people are waking up to the power of the Fed and why it should be brought under control. Congressman’ Ron Paul’sbook, END THE FED was a good start toward that end aas is G.Edward Griffin’s The Creature from Jekyll Island in which he said, If America is to survive as a free nation, her citizens must become more politically educated than they are at present.
Why on earth would you write an entire article debunking the AP delegate count, only to end with the thing you just debunked?! Is Newscorp holding you hostage??? Blink once for yes…
