CARIBOU and PLAINFIELD, Conn. – Tom A. Bragdon, 51, beloved husband of Tammy (Spinney) Bragdon, died May 17, 2012, surrounded by his family at his home in Plainfield, Conn., after a long illness. He was born Aug. 5, 1960, in Caribou, son of Mack and Joanne (Theriault) Bragdon, and had resided in Connecticut for the past 16 years.
Tom was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was employed as a lead engineer of facilities at Foxwoods Resort and Casino. Tom was a member of APA nine ball league and served as captain of the Junk Yard Dogs. He was a builder and operator of gas powered RC airplanes. Tom was also a Harley-Davidson enthusiast, “TMMYGUN24.”
In addition to his wife and parents, he leaves three sons, Christopher Bragdon and his girlfriend, Angie Espitia, and their son, Christopher Michael Bragdon, of Moosup, Conn., Andrew Bragdon of Moosup, Conn., and Matthew Bragdon and his wife, Jessica, of Kaneoha Bay, Hawaii; a sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Clinton St. Peter of Caribou; also several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family 1-2:45 p.m. Friday, May 25, at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. A committal service and military honors will be held 3 p.m. Friday at Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery, Caribou. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery, 37 Lombard Road, Caribou, ME 04736.
