BRUNSWICK, Maine — A fight between two brothers on Thursday afternoon left one in Cumberland County Jail this morning on charges of criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon.

Brunswick police responded just after noon Thursday to 13 Hornet St. where a man reported that he and his brother, 21-year-old Joshua Davis, had fought and his brother had threatened him with a kitchen knife, Brunswick Police Lt. Tom Garrepy said today.

The brother also had a visible bite mark on his arm, but denied medical treatment, according to Garrepy.

When Garrepy found Davis outside the home, officers arrested him and transported him to Cumberland County Jail, where he was held on $5,000 cash bail.

  1. What a great brother, If when my brother an i got in fights at that age if we called the law after each fight one of us would still be in jail. The problem today is that our government has created a society that is afraid to stand up and be recognized. Why do people call a cop when they probably got thier butt kicked for something they start and could’nt finish so now they want to get even so they call the law. SAD !!!!!

  2. Yeah.. You’re not supposed to call the cops on your family. Unless its LIFE or DEATH. I think the brother feels bad. But 5000 dollars bail for a family scuffle? Get real.
