BANGOR, Maine — A local couple facing sex charges involving a 7-year-old boy were indicted Wednesday by the Penobscot County grand jury.
Katie Dube, 27, of Glenburn and Terrence A. Pinkham, 27, of Bangor were indicted on five counts of gross sexual contact and two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor. The victim is related to one of the adults, according to the Penobscot County district attorney’s office.
They are scheduled to be arraigned July 5 at the Penobscot Judicial Center.
The pair were arrested in Brewer earlier this month by local police.
Dube and Pinkham remained Wednesday at the Penobscot County Jail unable to make bail. Her bail was set at $50,000 cash while his was set at $100,000.
Police began an investigation into the couple after an electronic photo of a sexual assault involving a child was sent to Brewer police, according to a previously published report.
Brewer police Detective Sgt. Jay Munson said earlier this month that the couple “created child porn” but did not distribute images over the Internet. If they had, federal charges most likely would have been filed against Dube and Pinkham.
If convicted, both face up to 30 years in prison and a fine of up to $50,000 on the sexual assault charges. They face up to 10 years in prison and fines of up to $20,000 on the sexual exploitation charges.
We can’t be to far away from the beginning of the seven years of tribulation. The headlines across this country and the world is nothing short of horrible. From sexual exploitation of a seven year old, to a man eating another’s face off, to the slaughter in Syria, and on and on it goes. History proves that monsters are not allowed to roam this planet forever.I suggest we get ready for the big event.

The only reason it seems so much worse now is because we have instant access to whatever is happening around the world. Only the shocking and horrific make the news so our perception is that only bad things are happening, when in reality there are plenty of good and bad things going on. When someone tries to eat the face off from another individual it has nothing to do with a “big event” and everything to do with a powerful and disgusting drug. I agree with RickShaw that the statement by James is stupid and paranoid, even more so if it is based on religion…..which I would guess is the case.
I’m sure that during both WWI and WWII and any other wars that have occurred that people at those times thought the same thing. It’s too bad that if these pieces of trash are convicted they’ll get a short sentence with most of it suspended. The penalties in Maine are not stiff enough when it comes to abusing kids.
