EXETER – Dennis E. Clark, 65, went to sleep in death May 29, 2012, after a struggle with cancer. He was born Oct. 26, 1946, in Lincoln, a son of Stanley and Avis (Staples) Clark Sr.

His parents moved to Arizona when Dennis was in first grade and he spent his formative years growing up in Prescott, Ariz. In 1960, he returned to Maine, where he met his high school sweetheart and wife of 46 years, Pamela (Roberts) Clark. Dennis loved model trains and built an extensive layout in his basement, which later grew into a nice little business he called Scale University. He was a member of the Corinna Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses and he loved talking with others about God’s Kingdom and the many blessings it holds for obedient mankind.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Kimberly Ann and husband, Andrew Wilkinson, of Llandudno, Wales, United Kingdom; two sons, James Clark of Orono, and Darren and wife, Kristy Clark, of Exeter; a sister, Jeanette and husband, Floyd Pomeroy, of Bangor; a brother, Horace “Bud” and wife, Helen Clark, of Jacksonville, Fla.; and his little granddaughter, Megan Wilkinson. He also leaves behind a myriad of friends. He always said he was blessed with many good friends and neighbors. He was predeceased by his parents; two brothers, Vernon Clark and Stanley Clark Jr.; and infant son, Timothy.

A funeral service celebrating Dennis’ life will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Exeter Road, Corinna, with Greg Webber officiating. All who knew him are welcome to attend. Burial will be after the service at Crowell Cemetery, Exeter. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Corinna. Those who wish may leave written tributes at
