GLENBURN – Dorene Spencer, wife of Percy Spencer, went home to be with the Lord Monday, June 4, 2012. She was born May 23, 1930, in Monroe, the daughter of Howard and Glenice Clements.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Andrea Smith and husband, Tooty, of Enfield and Tammy Belanger and husband, Dean, of Alaska; two sons, Barry Crocker of Lowell and Kevin Crocker of Winthrop; three stepdaughters, Glenna and Ronald Stevens of Bangor, Paulette Clapp of Glenburn and Belinda Violette and husband, Larry, of Bangor; a brother, Howard Clements of Passadumkeag; two granddaughters, Ashlee MacDonald and her husband, Opie, of Lee and Katelyn Smith of Enfield; two grandsons, Brandon and Devin Belanger of Alaska; six stepgrandchildren, Matthew Clapp and wife, Kimberly, of Virginia, Amy Carson and husband, Dave, of Glenburn, Adam Violette and wife, Tammy, of Hermon, Christopher and Wendy Stevens of Bangor and Jamie Stevens of Portland; great-grandchildren, Liam and Ana MacDonald; and five great-stepgrandchildren, Logan and Mitchell Clapp, Olivia Carson, Ayden and Lydia Violette. She was predeceased by her parents; her first husband, Harry Crocker; her grandson, Dustin Belanger; her great-granddaughter, Emma Carson; her sister, Betty Campbell; brother-in-law, Douglas Campbell; sister-in-law, Betty Clements; and Glenys Monteith, a special aunt from Belfast. Dorene was a member of Passadumkeag Baptist Church for many years.

Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln, where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Alan Porter officiating. Interment will be at Gould’s Ridge Cemetery, Passadumkeag. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to River of Life Bible Camp, P.O. Box 726, Howland, ME 04448.
