LINCOLN – Rita Paradis, daughter of Antoine and Rose Paradis (Chamberland), passed away unexpectedly July 2, 2012, at Colonial Acres Nursing Home, Lincoln. Rita was born July 1, 1944, in St. Agatha.
Rita graduated from St. Agatha High School now Wisdom High, attended Fort Kent State College and School of Cosmetology in Massachusetts.
She was predeceased by her parents, Antoine and Rose Paradis; younger brother, Roland; and two older sisters, Antoinette and Odille. Rita is survived by seven brothers, Fern and Simone (Babin), Valier and Bernadette (Bard), Louis and Aleta (Tasset), Donald and Patty (Frazee), Francis, Richard and Jackie (Paradis), and Albert; and seven sisters, Theresa, Joanne, Rose, Rinette and Leon (Seals), Claudette Bedard, Rena Mae, and Diane. Rita also leaves many nephews and nieces. Rita will be remembered by many who loved her dearly. She now joins all our other angels in heaven. Rita’s family expresses sincere thanks to the many health care providers at Colonial Acres Nursing Home, Lincoln.
