LIMESTONE and PERHAM – Floyd Guy King, 90 passed away Sunday evening, July 8, 2012, at a Frenchville health care facility. He was born Nov. 6, 1921, in Perham, son of Linneus and Edna (Roy)King.
He worked on area farms for his father, Archie Silver; and Cliff McIntyre. He loved to go fishing in his spare time.
He is survived by his brother, Roy King; nephew, Timothy King, both of Woodland; and close friend and pastor, Charlie Campbell of Limestone. He was predeceased by a son, Dusty Roy King; brother, Alton King; and three sisters, Angelia Curtis, Rachel Kahn and Iris Bouchard.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, July 13, at High Street Baptist Church, Limestone, with Pastor Charlie Campbell officiating. Friends may call 10 a.m. until time of service at the church. A reception will be held immediately after the service in the church reception hall. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, Perham.
