OLD TOWN – Francis E. Bouchard, 77, died unexpectedly July 9, 2012, at his residence. He was born Sept. 11, 1934, in Milford, a son of John and Elizabeth (Bishop) Bouchard.
He was a 1953 graduate of Old Town high School. He served in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1956 and was stationed in Korea. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3381, Old Town. After the service, he worked for several years at Old Town Flying Services at the Old Town airport. He then began a 34-year career at James Sewall Co. as an aerial photographer and photo technician.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Diane; four sisters, Marguerite Easler and her husband, Guy, of Ellsworth, Patricia Kane and her husband, Walter, of Surry, Claudette Townsend of Thomaston and Ramona Gallant of Bradley; and a sister-in-law, Lena Bouchard of Milford. He was predeceased by three brothers, Leo, Joseph and Robert; and five sisters, Pauletta Van Horn, June St. Clair, Genevieve Salvato, Esther St. Heart and Betty Michaud.
