ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. – Glendon E. Coffey, 93, died Friday, June 29, 2012. Glendon was born in Presque Isle.
His wife of 70 years, Elizabeth, predeceased him in 2010. He is survived by his son, G. William Coffey of O’Fallon, Mo.; and five granddaughters, Stacey Hoffman, Lesley Siller, Melanie Coffey, Heather Stretar and Heidi Sawyer.
After his career as a Maine potato farmer, he was a hospice volunteer. He was also a Maine Mason district director and a member of Shriners International.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, July 14, at First United Methodist Church, Zephyrhills, Fla. Interment will be at Chapel Hill Gardens, Dade City, Fla. Hodges Family Funeral Home.
