SCARBOROUGH, Maine — A 7-year-old boy pulled from a pond at a campground and revived by a lifeguard is in the hospital in serious condition.
Police Chief Robert Moulton says officers were called to Wassamki Springs Campground at about 1:15 p.m. Thursday in response to a report that a child had drowned.
Police say witnesses pulled the child from the pond and a lifeguard gave him CPR, reviving him.
The Portland Press Herald reports that the boy had been swimming with a group of day campers from Cape Elizabeth. He and the lifeguard have not been identified.

Wow, hope the child is okay and God Bless the life guard…
I so hope this young boy will be fine—
Good that those that could help in time did so.
Give that man a raise!
