BRUNSWICK, Maine — A woman crossing Bath Road suffered a significant head wound when she was struck by a truck Monday morning.

Brunswick police responded at approximately 8:10 a.m. to the intersection of Bath Road and Maine Street, where the woman had been struck by a stake bed truck, Brunswick Police Sgt. Russ Wrede said.

She sustained “a significant head wound” and was transported by Brunswick rescue workers to Maine Medical Center.

The identity of the driver was not available Monday morning.

Police continue to investigate the crash.

  1. Good thing it was not in Bangor, pedestrians getting hit in cross walks and no charges filed here WTF, this needs to stop.
