EASTON and BUCKEYE, Ariz. – John “Jackie” Francis Barnes, 71, passed away July 15, 2012, in Arizona, from Alzehimer’s disease. John was born Oct. 30, 1940, son of Francis and Marion Appleby Barnes of Easton.
John graduated from Easton High School in 1958. John was employed as a salesman, retiring from Corbin Ltd. John had a great sense of humor and loved life, the outdoors and his dogs, Molly and Max.
John is survived by his wife, Billie; son, Jeff and wife, Karen; daughter, Goldy and children, Taylor and Dillon; stepchildren, Rick, Tammy and Julie, and their families; brother, Fred and wife, Jill, and daughter, Amy, of Easton; sister, Helen Vaughn and daughter, Janie Hearn and husband, Dale, and sons, Jeremy and Christopher, and son, Gerald Averill. John is also survived by several nephews, nieces and cousins.
Services for John were held July 20 in Sun City, Ariz., at Menke Funeral Home.
