FRENCHVILLE – Priscilla B. Franck, 95, passed away peacefully July 16, 2012. She began her life Dec. 24, 1916, in Frenchville, a daughter of the late Frankie and Edith (Michaud) Franck.
She is survived by her sister, Sister Marie (Carmel) Franck of Sound Beach, N.Y.
Priscilla was predeceased by her siblings, Marie-Estelle Franck, Lucien Franck Sr.
Marie-Ange Franck, the Rev. Marc Franck, Juliette Turgeon, Pauline Gow, Sister Alice-Evangeline Franck, Antonio Franck, Philip Franck and Alfred Franck.
Ms. Franck resided in Frenchville her entire life with her extended family, her beloved brother, Phil and his devoted wife, Dora Franck, along with their eight children. She worked for 43 years at Fraser Paper Mill, Madawaska, retiring to a leisurely life, sharing
memorable time with her much-loved family. Priscilla was “Ma’ Tante” to her 16 nieces and nephews. She will be fondly remembered for her generosity to those less fortunate and her religious faith.
Family and friends may visit 6-8 p.m. Friday, July 27, and 9 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at Michaud Funeral Home, Frenchville. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday, July 28, at St. Luce Catholic Church,
Frenchville, with the Rev. Philip Cyr officiating. Interment will be at St. Luce Parish Cemetery. The Franck family invites friends and family members to join in a time of memorial fellowship at the Community Center after the burial service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to a charity of your choice.
