STACYVILLE – Samuel Guiggey, 82, died July 23, 2012, in Houlton. He was born April 20, 1930, in Stacyville, the son of Sandy and Florence (McNally) Guiggey.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his daughter, Belinda and Gordon Moffatt of Bradley; a granddaughter, Whitney Runnells and her fiance, Chad, of Newport; a great-granddaughter, Charity Guerrette; three sisters, Margaret Duffy of Patten, Sylvia and Fred Lilley, and Beverly and Gary Moody, all of Stacyville; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents; and three brothers, Ronnie, Howard and James “Buster.”
A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Friday at Bowers Funeral Home, Sherman Street, Island Falls, with the Rev. Leon Robinson officiating. Interment will be at Stacyville Cemetery. To sign a guest book and leave condolences, please visit
