RIPLEY – Elizabeth Wanda Haseltine, 96, died peacefully July 25, 2012, at a Dover-Foxcroft, hospital after a brief illness. She was born Nov. 13, 1915, in Ripley, daughter of Stanley and Charlotte (Patterson) Raymond.

Lib spent her entire life in Ripley and was a longtime member of Ripley United Methodist Church. She had been an active member of Ladies Aid, Ripley Grange, Christmas Club and Extension. She was always ready to go and enjoyed all of her club meetings, including the Friday night and Sunday afternoon outings. The family is particularly grateful to Tammy, Danny and Brandon Brasier for their loving care and support that allowed her to remain in her home with her beloved cat, Honey.

Lib is survived by her daughter, Wanda Jackson Thomas of Orono; grandchildren, Susan and husband, Ken Sivik, and Steven and wife, Mary Jackson; and great-grandchildren, Tyler and Hilary Sivik, and Erin and Melanie Jackson, all of Bangor. She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Linwood “Tim” Hoyt Haseltine; and two brothers, Nelson and Donald.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, July 28, at Ripley United Methodist Church with the Rev. Anna C. Beach officiating. Friends may call 1 p.m. until the time of services. Burial will be at Ferndale Cemetery, Ripley.
