HAMPDEN, Maine — A Hampden man is facing a felony charge after he allegedly pointed a gun at a family member’s head, according to police.

Christopher Pederson, 22, was booked on a charge of criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon on Monday, according to Hampden police Officer Joel Small.

Small said Pederson pointed a loaded handgun at the undisclosed family member’s head during an argument, and Hampden police Officer Anthony Lorenz and Sgt. Scott Webber quickly responded.

Nobody was injured in the incident, Small said. Pederson was booked into the Penobscot County Jail and later released.

If convicted, Pederson faces up to five years in prison.

      1. Have you ever done something to get the crap beat out of you? I bet you have, then called the cops instead of owning up to being stupid…

        1. No because I don’t hang with idiots like that, I don’t disrespect and I don’t call the cops over petty highschool BS. You sound like a thug, how’d you get a computer?

  2. pull the trigger next time…probably in maine 15 years with all buy 8 suspe— wait that just happened in dover foxcroft didn’t it?

  3.  How does someone “deserve” to get a gun pointed to their head? One slip of the finger or one unplanned twitch that “DESERVING” aim could cost a life…

  4. There is no “argument” in the world that justifies a gun being involved.   If that is an example of his best coping skills, he’s in for a rough life.
