VAN BUREN – Edward Joseph Ouellette, 58, died unexpectedly June 22, 2012. He was born Nov. 5, 1953, the son of Conrad and Mignonne Ouellette of Van Buren.
He graduated from Van Buren District High School in 1972 and from Maine Maritime Academy in 1976. Ed was a self-employed marine engineer in Malaysia, previously working in Singapore. He was a loving father of two daughters, Kayla of Tampa, Fla., and Kristie of Cairns, Queensland, Australia.
In addition to his daughters, Kayla and Kristie, and his parents, he is survived by a brother, Raymond of Bowdoinham; sisters, Verna of Manassas, Va., Dot and Tim of Allentown, Pa., and Rachel and Norman of Coventry, Conn.; nieces and nephews, Leigh and Tony of Auburn, Jason of Manassas, Va., Nicole of Manchester, Conn., and Nicholas of Coventry, Conn.; along with former wife, Jeannie of Hattisburg, Miss.
Friends and family may visit with the family 10:30 a.m. until the time of memorial service 11 a.m. Aug. 16 at St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church, Van Buren. Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.Legacy.com.
