CARIBOU – Aildine M. Landean, 73, wife of the late Elmer G. Landean, died Aug. 13, 2012, in Boston after a brief illness. She was born Feb. 17, 1939, daughter of the late Philip and Blanche Deschaine.
She was a member of Gustaf Adolph Lutheran Church where she was also a member of Lutheran Church Women’s Group. Mrs. Landean was an avid and accomplished knitter, and also loved crochet and many were the recipients of her handy work. She married Elmer G. Landean, in 1957.
She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce and Maria Landean of North Pole, Alaska, and Bryant and Diane Landean of Orono; daughter and-son-in law, Becky and Vinal McDougall of Plaster Rock, New Brunswick; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Private family services will be held at New Sweden Cemetery. Friends who wish to contribute in memory of Mrs. Landean may do so through American Cancer Society or Multiple Sclerosis Society. Arrangements by Mockler Funeral Home, Caribou.
