EAST WINN – Jared L. Rideout, 36, husband of April (Burrill) Rideout, passed away unexpectedly Aug. 24, 2012, at his home. He was born Jan. 21, 1976, in Lincoln, the son of Wade J. Rideout Sr. and Janice (Veino) Rideout.
Jared loved his family, his home, his guitar and the Mattawamkeag Riders Club. He loved the hunting camp and his good friend, Aaron Gilbert. He will be remembered fondly as the “Guitar Picking Man.”
In addition to his wife and his parents, he is survived by a son, Dylan Rideout; a daughter, Laci Rideout; three brothers, Jamie Rideout and Delcie, Troy Rideout and Libbi, and Derek Rideout and Emily; his beloved nieces and nephews, Erika and B.J. Tripp, David and Chaley Rideout, Brodi Rideout and Samantha Haynes, Craig Rideout and Kristin Hersom, Mickenzie Rideout and Kara Lagasse, Brittani Rideout, Tiffani Rideout, Austin Rideout and Lynzi Rideout; great-nieces, great-nephew, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Also, April’s family: sister-in-law, Angel Burrill; April’s grandmother, Helen Clough; and brother-in-law, Rex Burrill.
Friends may call 5-7 p.m. Saturday at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln, where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Mark W. York officiating. Interment will be at Potter Brook Cemetery, East Winn. After the burial there will be a gathering at the Mattawamkeag Riders Club.
