GREENBUSH – Randy S. Noyes, 56, died Aug. 27, 2012, at his residence after a nearly year-long battle with cancer. He was born Oct. 5, 1955, in Waldoboro, son of Edwin and Charlotte (Orff) Noyes.
Randy was a 1973 graduate of Medomak Valley High School. He enjoyed fishing and ice fishing, following the New England Patriots, and had a love for all animals. He was an auto body technician for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Mary C. (Watson) Noyes of Greenbush; two sons, Joshua Noyes and wife, Kim, of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Jeremy Noyes and partner, Sean Long, of Englewood, Colo.; two stepdaughters, Angela Young of Milford and Amy Putnam of Calais; four grandchildren who lovingly called him “Grandy,” Nate and Lily Young, and Mathew and Alivia Putnam; sister, Lynn Rawley and husband, Tim, of Washington; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, grandparents; and a wife, Barbara Teel. The family wishes to give a special and heartfelt thank you to New Hope Hospice for their wonderful and compassionate care given to Randy, and for the comfort given to the family during Randy’s final days of life.
A celebration of his life will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town, with Pastor Thomas Rawley officiating.
