OXFORD, Maine — LeAnn Rimes has checked herself into a 30-day treatment center just two weeks before she is due to headline the entertainment at the Oxford Fair.
Jackie Young, president of the Oxford County Agricultural Society, said she is waiting to hear from Rimes’ representative to confirm the singer will still appear at the fair on the evening of September 15.
New reports today are saying the Grammy award winning singer has checked into a 30-day treatment center to “cope with anxiety and stress.”
Young said she is not overly concerned with the reports because an online People Magazine bulletin has reported that the singer intends to keep all her weekend commitments and Rimes is set to play to the Oxford Fair audience Saturday, Sept. 15.
According to that statement in the online edition of People, “The country star — who has been gearing up for the upcoming release of her latest studio album, ‘Spitfire,’ and a fall tour — will continue to perform in September during breaks from treatment.”
The article quoted Rimes’ representative as saying “The facility has granted her permission to keep her weekend tour obligations, as LeAnn doesn’t want to disappoint her fans. She will report back after each weekend.”
The Oxford Fair recently announced a $5 ticket for the show and admittance to the fair that day.

I remember looking through the front window at the Silver Dollar Saloon on Exchange St. and seeing Curless perform when I was a teenager. Now, the question is…do you predate me?

Nope, all she is doing is getting dried out just long enough to go back out on tour. There will be some wild weekends after four days in rehab.
I feel very bad for her….she started out as a very nice young woman, and people just kept taking advantage of her.

y’all being so negative about this. I don’t hate down on someone getting some help with their issues. A lot of Bangorians could use 30 days of help. It can make your life better. Trust me about that, I’ve been sober 10 years now.

You see these relatively young attractive female adult teenagers around town…..they booze up,they POT up,they smoke butts Up, they eat fast food….by the time they hit 30 YEARS OLD AGE, they got the look of face of an old lady already …. take a look at Brittany Spears. at 24 years of age, she looked like some old hag yelling out the backdoor of some 1950s trailer

If I was planning on a trip to Oxford County I think I would need help with anxiety and stress also. I wish her the best of help with her recovery. Know doubt her life has been accelerated by society temptations. Remember folks it is a fine line we all walk. People who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. Just saying. Looks more like an eating disorder than drugs or alcohol. Her head looks huge compared to her body and if the camera adds 10 pounds she needs a few cheeseburgers. Or some fair food…..fried dough ought to do it!

Oh Brandi Glanville must be havng a field day with this one! I have to be sure to see all upcoming seasons of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills now to see how many more ways Brandi can make LeAnn look like a home wrecker while dealing with her children’s loss as well, when their father cheated on his young family and gave them a pretty yukky way to start their lives, on national television. Two adrable little boys have to deal with this news as well and wonder what to make of it. Really sad when such a mess happens and their’s children involved.
Those poor children are the one’s to feel for in all this. LeAnn Rimes really has her work ct ut fr her, dealing with Brandi Glanville for years to come. I don’t wish any bad on anyone but sometimes people are their own worst enemies.
