EPPING, N.H. — Authorities say a New Hampshire woman has been arrested four times in 26 hours for blasting the AC/DC song “Highway to Hell” and other loud music from her home and for throwing a frying pan.
Police first issued a warning to Joyce Coffey on Tuesday afternoon at her home in Epping. They say they were called back an hour later and arrested her for the loud music.
Police say Coffey was arrested again five hours later. She was released and arrested again before dawn Wednesday over more loud music.
Police arrested her again after her nephew said he tried to remove some of his belongings from her house and she threw the frying pan at him.
Coffey was jailed Friday and couldn’t be reached for comment. WMUR-TV reports a judge has recommended she use headphones.
What a difference in mug shot in 24 hours.
Well if she wants to blow out her own eardrums, which I suppose she has a right to do, she can do it using headphones. That way, her neighbors don’t have to listen to her blasting her music.
“Highway to Hell”, eh? I will restrain myself from the all too obvious cheap shot I could take.

She could move to Bangor where there is loud music and noise most of the time and the citizens suffer thru it all.
You can be part of a large “class” that will be taking “action” soon that should help reduce the noise complaints.

15-20 times a year means you know nothing. 350+ times a year, you have just the sounds of the city. You will try to slow this city down, but good luck with that. I’d move now if I were you.
Well, other than needing to put her teeth back in she at least looks a little better in each mug shot.

Loud motorcycles of course is also a safety issue. So many accidents are caused by people not seeing motorcycles. When motorcycles are loud, at least drivers will hear them first if they don’t see them, as long as the driver isn’tblasting “Highway to Hell” on the car stereo. The loud bikes that you’re complaining about at least keep moving on. Being next to a neighbor blasting some kind of music that you don’t like is a very different thing.

You’ll get arrested for turnin’ up the tunes but a whole sheet load a LOUD bikes can tear up a neighborhood and nothin’ is done about it… Or loud jakes or pickups with damn near straight pipes or,,,,,, Big wheels keep on burnin’ I guess is a ok :-/

… yet my neighbors can fire off all the fireworks they want to and the police can’t/won’t do a thing until 10:00 p.m. (many nights later than that). What’s the difference? I wouldn’t have turned my music down either!
