BRIDGTON, Maine — One person was killed Wednesday afternoon in a single-vehicle accident on Kansas Road, according to police.
The victim’s identity is being withheld until family members can be notified, according to a news release from Bridgton police Chief Kevin Schofield.
The victim was the lone occupant in the vehicle, and the accident took place just after 2 p.m., the release stated.
Cumberland County Sheriff’s Deputies are reconstructing the crash. Police believe excessive speed was a factor.
