BANGOR, Maine — A water main break Sunday in front of McDonald’s slowed traffic on Broadway.

The Bangor Water District at about noon shut down one southbound and one northbound lane on Route 15, a major artery that runs between Bangor, Dover-Foxcroft and other Piscataquis County towns.

Crews still were working at 6 p.m. to repair the break.

Do they pay you for that or did you just happen to be hanging out by McDonald’s with your cell phone?
