PRESQUE ISLE – Geneva Michaud, 84, passed away Monday, Sept. 17, 2012, at Madigan Estates, Houlton. She was born Feb. 11, 1928, in Quimby, the daughter of Francois and Gertrude (Morneault) Gagnon.
She was predeceased by her husband, Roland Michaud, in 1986; and her beloved friend, Ron Smith, in 2010. Geneva is survived by two sons, Roy of Mapleton and Richard and his wife, Terry, of Saco; two daughters and their husbands, Karen and Kenneth Winiarski of Forest Township and Tammy and John Fenyo of Medford, N.Y.; a brother, Carroll Gagnon of Stoughton, Mass.; two sisters, Madeline Saucier of Presque Isle and Bernice Pappapietro of Bristol, Conn.; a sister-in-law, Lorraine Gagnon of Skowhegan; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Parish of the Precious Blood, Presque Isle. Interment will be at Fairmount Cemetery.
