SACO, Maine — Saco police are on the lookout for a woman who robbed a city Dunkin’ Donuts shop at gunpoint.

Police say the woman entered the store on Portland Road just after 8 p.m. Wednesday, showed a black handgun, demanded cash and told employees that two men were waiting for her in a vehicle outside.

Workers gave the woman an undisclosed amount of cash, and she left the store.

Police unsuccessfully used dogs to track the woman.

The suspect is described as about 5-feet, 2-inches tall with a thin build. She was wearing jeans and a gray pullover sweat shirt with red lettering on the front and black and white sneakers. She was also wearing latex gloves and carrying a green canvas bag.

  1. You REALLY have to be on the bottom of the food chain to rob a doughnut shop.

On another subject where do the cops in Saco get their doughnuts.

  2. Many robbers in Maine claim to have guns but actually hardly any are seen. This is truly a desparate young lady to actually show a gun in the robbery.  When arrsted we will find out about her drug problem.
