LUBBOCK, Texas – Donna Lynne Walls passed from this life Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012. She was born Feb. 19, 1947, in Presque Isle, to Linwood and Esther Roix.
On Sept. 18, 1965, she married the love of her life, Richard H. Walls in Millinocket. Donna and her husband, Richard, spent the last decade traveling for Broken Vessel Ministries sharing God’s love and ministering to the broken hearted.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Walls; their children and grandchildren, Kymberley Maddox and husband, Bruce, and their son, Luke; and Steven Walls and wife, Kayla, and their children, Casey and Kelbey. Donna is also survived by her father, Linwood Roland Roix; and three sisters, Sandra Gaines and husband, Ron, Brenda Larson and husband, Allen, and Linda Labby and husband, Richard. Donna was predeceased by her mother, Esther Eileen Roix.
Family and friends will gather for fellowship 6-8 p.m. Sept. 28 at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. We will celebrate her life of 65 years, 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, at First Church of the Nazarene, 6110 Chicago Ave., Lubbock, Texas. In lieu of flowers, her family suggests memorial contributions be sent to Broken Vessel Ministries, P.O. Box 64338, Lubbock, TX 79464.
