DOVER-FOXCROFT – Judith Boone Alexa, 77, wife of the late John Elwin Alexa, died Oct. 2, 2012, at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston. She was born July 24, 1935, in Easton, daughter of Richard Leon Boone Sr. and Hope Margaret (Higgins) Boone.
Judy was a devoted homemaker and a faithful member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for many years.
She is survived by two daughters, Hope Alexa Page and husband, Stephen, and Marilou Alexa Conner and husband, Casey; three brothers, Roger Rufus Boone and wife, Valerie, Bert Harvey Boone and wife, Joeene, and William Lawrence Boone and wife, Charlotte; and three sisters, Clarice Boone Sloat Call, Joan Boone Zikorus, and Sheila Boone Lyons and husband, Jon. She will be lovingly remembered by 13 grandchildren, Rhiannon Page Rosso and husband, Benjamin, Jeremy Todd Page and wife, Crystal, Kayleigh Page, Chelsea Page, Landon Isaac Page, Levi Benjamin Conner and wife, Raquel, Alexa Conner, Mallory Conner Watkins and husband, Michael, Samuel Almon Conner, Jacob Casey Conner, Kaitlyn Conner, Ezra Tobias Conner and Eden Conner; and seven great-grandchildren, Eric, Leah, Michael, John, Rose, Madeleine and Finn. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Richard Leon Boone.
A funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 5, at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Dover-Foxcroft. Burial will be in the family lot at Rural Grove Cemetery. After the service friends and family are invited to share fellowship and stories at Gerrish-Warren Center at Thayer Parkway, Dover-Foxcroft. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
