WEYMOUTH, Mass. – Judith A. (Drew) Griffin, 71, passed away Oct. 4, 2012. She was born in Bangor and had lived in Weymouth, Mass., for 43 years.
Judith was a transcriber at South Shore Hospital for more than 30 years. Judith enjoyed family time, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed musicals, theatre, and her many friends and co-workers.
Judith was the beloved wife of the late Alden “Brian” Griffin; mother of Jeffrey B. Griffin of Clearwater, Fla., and Timothy A. Griffin and his wife, Robyn, of Marshfield, Mass.; companion of many years of Robert S. Young of Weymouth, Mass.; sister of Samuel Drew and his wife, Kathy, of Clifton, Christina Nisbett of Bucksport, and the late Joanne Young; and grandmother of Brian, Michael and Lauren Griffin.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours 2-6 p.m. Sunday at South Weymouth McDonald Funeral Home. Funeral service will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday at McDonald Funeral Home – South Weymouth, 809 Main St., Route 18 opposite South Shore Hospital, Weymouth, Mass.
