DEXTER – Dana A. Nadeau, 65, died Oct. 8, 2012, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Feb. 21, 1947, in Bangor, son of George and Edna (Pearl) Nadeau.
He attended Dexter schools, and worked for a time at Dumbarton Woolen Mill and for Dexter Shoe Co. Dana was a retired fireman and was well known around town. Many of the local businesses appreciated the fact that night after night he would check the locks on the doors on Main Street. He always had a smile and ready conversation for anyone that he met. One of his special gifts was the ability to memorize almost everyone’s phone number. He was an avid Dexter sports fan and was often seen at the local games.
