BANGOR, Maine — A local man who continued to contact a woman with an active protection order against him was arrested after it was reported that he was crouching down near her door, Bangor police Sgt. Paul Edwards said Monday.
Benjamin A. McCue, 26, is out on bail and was charged with violating his bail conditions three times and twice violating the protection order, the sergeant said.
McCue repeatedly contacted the woman’s relatives on Oct. 14, asking for an email address, which was reported to police at 9:35 p.m. that day. Then, at about 3 p.m. on Oct. 15, he was seen by the woman crouching nearby her home. At 8 p.m. he called the woman’s house again and was acting strangely, Edwards said.
McCue surrendered to police on Oct. 18 and Officer Jason Stuart charged him with the five misdemeanor charges and then took him to Penobscot County Jail. (Nok-Noi Ricker, BDN)
Unfortunately, a piece of paper will never stop someone wanting to do harm… or otherwise!
That is right! There is no stopping guys like this. Keep them in jail its the only way that their victims will feel safe. But, no they let them roam the streets and find their victims.
Correct as he not only had one with this female but another female downeast as well. Maybe this time he will have to pay for the crime.

Committing five crimes over a couple days when you already have protection orders and bail conditions is news-worthy to me.
In ADDITION to the one already in effect before all this with the last women he beat.
In another context, his persistance would be seen as a positive. But NO CONTACT means NO CONTACT, direct or indirect.

Now he should be held until his trial.
If they had have held him for the last women he beat he woudl not have been able to do it again… Though I must say the fact that the female he beat this time was his accomplice in the beating of the last women so in that respect it is kind of fitting.
The judges may regret letting this creep out so many times. Which time will be the one where the animal kills the woman?
The judges do not care. If they did he would not have been loose after the last woman he beat.
I don’t think anyone believes a criminal is not stupid, Just watch TRU tv and you see the smart ones are never caught. That’s why the call them the worlds dumbest. Maybe he just wanted his 15 minutes of fame on the reality show. Well maybe he will make his 15 minutes on Lockup on MSNBC.
