LEESBURG, FLA. – Terry Leo Burchill, 66, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012. Born in St. John, New Brunswick, he moved to Leesburg, Fla., in 2007 from Owl’s Head.
He was a car dealership sales manager, was a member of American Legion Post No. 1, Rockland, and St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church, Eustis, Fla. Terry served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Gloria J. Burchill of Leesburg, Fla.; three sons, Paul Burchill of Okinawa, Japan, Richard Burchill of Hull, England, and Thomas Burchill of Leesburg, Fla.; mother, Valerie Burchill of Holden, Mass.; six sisters, Karen Larivee of Milford, Mass., Susan Verow of Houston, Margaret Bondar of Worcester, Mass., Judy Staruk of Knoxville, Tenn., Debbie Staruk of Holden, Mass., and Ann Marie Burchill of Fort Myers, Fla.; and five grandchildren.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 29, at St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church, Eustis, Fla. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Sunday with a wake service beginning 7:30 p.m. at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis, Fla.
