TOLLESON, Ariz., and FRENCH ISLAND – Thomas Louis LeBretton Sr., 64, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born Jan. 3, 1948, to Charles and Marguerite (LaBree) LeBretton.
Thomas served his country as a combat engineer and was stationed in Germany and Libya. Thomas loved spending time with family and friends and enjoyed his job as a corrections officer at the Maricopa County Jail. He was a loving father and dedicated husband.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife, Joan LeBretton; brother, Steve LeBretton; and sister, Florence “Prue” Hildreth. He also is survived by six children, Delia, Melissa, Thomas Jr., Charlene, Sasha and Joseph; 13 grandchildren, Alisha, Matthew, Briana, Devon, Meghan, Tia, Sydney, Russell, Cole, Cristian, Braden, Riley and Jareth; and a great-grandson, Anthony. He was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Marguerite; and his son, Anthony Wayne LeBretton.
A celebration of Thomas’ life will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at Rickers Funeral Home, Enfield, N.H. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.greenwoodmemorylawn.com.
