GLENBURN, Maine — A LaGrange man is facing a burglary charge after he broke into a house on Beechwood Avenue in Glenburn on Saturday afternoon, police said.

Leigh Thomas Dolley, 21, was booked into the Penobscot County Jail on the Class C felony charge, according to Chief Deputy Troy Morton of the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office. Dolley has since been released on bail.

Deputies were called to the scene around 11 a.m. Saturday, Morton said.

The owner of the house confronted Dolley, who tried to get away, but deputies were on scene when he tried to flee, according to Morton.

Morton didn’t specify whether Dolley took anything from the house, noting that the case is still under investigation.

“There are other people that will potentially be charged,” Morton said.

The homeowner was not injured in the incident, Morton said. Dolley faces up to five years in prison if convicted.

  1. Another article with most of the facts left out or left for imagination, where do they find these reporters?

  2. Deputies were called to the scene around 11 a.m. Saturday, for a break -in that afternoon. No wonder they caught him!! Makes no sense.

    1. Unless he bailed, and then went back that afternoon and broke in again.  Now THAT would be the definition of stoopid!

    2. This article was written using journalisms modern spin off of
the “5W’s and 1 H” rule most of us were taught years ago.

      Who – Who really cares?

What- What does this really matter to me?

When- When do I get paid?

      Why-   Why do I write
      this ####?

Where- Where can I get a drink?

      and of course…

How- How did I ever get such a waste of a job after studying
journalism and accumulating 50k +in student loan debt?

    1.  By contributing to society, you mean supporting the multinational corporations who have turned humans into commodities, right?

If you think “getting a real job” contributes anything, you are living in a strange place. Yeah, all your effort goes somewhere, alright. That CEO cruising in his jet, or lambo, or massive boat really appreciates how you work yourself to death so he can chill.

Im not saying this kid has the right idea, breaking into houses, but, I dont think getting a job is the best way to contribute. Its a way to live, but nothing more.

  3. Doesn’t look too concerned about being booked. Too bad the homeowner didn’t have the chance to light him up with 110,000 volts. Maybe he would think twice about it later on.

  4. Leigh Dolley — dang, was his family hoping for a girl or what?  Been one strike against the lad since he came out of the delivery room.  LOL  Could at least called him Henry or Rufus or George…

  5. He wants to thank god it was not my house he broke into. if I ever catch someone in my home. They will go to heaven in a hurry.
