BAR HARBOR, Maine — U.S. Sen. Susan Collins is campaigning in Maine for a Republican candidate to Maine’s House of Representative.
Collins says she’ll be in Bar Harbor on Tuesday with Paul Paradis, who is running against Democrat Brian Hubbell for the District 35 seat. Paradis has served three terms on the Bar Harbor Town Council.
Collins is planning to be in Bath on Wednesday, where she’ll walk through downtown with Jon Courtney, the Republican candidate for the 1st Congressional District. He’s running against Democratic incumbent Chellie Pingree.
On Friday, Collins will be in Fort Kent campaigning with state Rep. Peter Edgecomb.
Maybe it’s just me, but I haven’t seen Sen.’s Collins or Snowe campaigning with Sec. Summers. I wonder why that is?
Probably the only plus Summers has, Snowe and Collins staying away, Snowe and Collins, two of the worse Senators that ever was in Washington, do nothings, live in DC, millionaire’s, buddies of George W. Bush, got us into the Iraq War, bankrupt the U.S. Post Office, just two republicans that know how to play Mainers, Gawd, I pray for the day those two are both out of office.
Well, that is great. A US Senator that has given up our logging industry to the Canadians campaigning with a State Senator that has done the same on the state level.
I’ll be moving to Fort Kent in order to vote for the man whom Sen. Collins endorses for the State House. Hope I can sell my current house in time or, if not, then find a rental property before election day.
Is Paradis so desperate, he has to pull in outsiders to campaign for him??? Not so sure she will help him much!

Isn’t it nice that she can run all of the state with the local candidates when she and her cronnies have not accomplished a damn thing in four years. There are 300 million people out there begging for some production out of Washington DC and all they got to do is stump at home for the locals. I know one of them is in that national pool but she needs to be at work not out there campaining.
Oh Gawd, Collins is out of hiding, Collins was arm and arm with George W. Bush, spread the weapons of mass destruction yarn, got us into the Iraq War, bankrupt the Nation, Susan Collins in 2006 designed the bankrupting of the U.S. Post Office, with her making the PO pay in 75 years of retiree health care in just 10 years, this 5 billion a year cost, has almost destroyed the PO, and most of the money was used to hide the true cost of the Iraq War, Collins should resign, she has cost Maine and the United States way too much, she is a disaster.
