Two Eastern Maine boys soccer championships have been postponed from Wednesday to Thursday due to wet field conditions.
The Class B final of No. 2 Camden Hills at. No. 1 Ellsworth is 5 p.m. Thursday at the Ellsworth High School field and the Class C final of No. 7 Orono at No. 4 Houlton is now scheduled for 3 p.m. Thursday.
I’ve seen the Ellsworth pitch and it’s an utter shambles. It has been for some time. It’s not going to be worthy of playoff football tomorrow either. If I were Camden Hills, I’d demand a turf field such as Husson.
