AUBURN, Maine — Auburn police officers responded to a report of a robbery at the Hilton Garden Inn just after 12:30 p.m. Thursday.

Witnesses described a man with short dark hair running from the hotel as wearing a dark jacket and khaki pants.

The man is not believed to be armed, but reportedly took a “large amount of cash.”

      When it is released.
      Hope they didn;t get Rite Aids “security experts” to help.

    1. hotels have large sums of cash, and rarely security cameras. Go after dark, and there’s just one employee. When the employee worries about their safety, the management shrugs their shoulders and says “you can be replaced.” Hospitality workers are disposable assets, and security equipment costs money. Until there’s a problem (like this), they won’t do anything.
