PORTLAND, Maine — Police investigating an early-morning stabbing in Portland said the victim is not cooperating.
Police said the man walked into a Forest Avenue convenience store at about 2 a.m. Wednesday and asked a clerk to call an ambulance.
Authorities said the victim was taken to Maine Medical Center with 10 stab wounds to his back. His injuries are not considered life threatening.
The victim’s name was not immediately made public and there was no word on arrests.
Police said he will not tell them what happened.

Gee, wonder if this was a drug deal gone bad? He doesn’t want to cooperate? Fine, screw him. Don’t waste a penny investigating it then.
Too bad the police and hospital couldnt work together and get some info out of these people before they are cleaned up and sent on their merry way. I mean this guy had to be in some serious pain with 10 stabs to his back. Maybe if the hopsital were able to tell him to give the police the info they need and then they will help ya out, he might have been more willing to talk….I realize that is going to cause a stir of comments against saying they are obligated to help the person, but just saying.
