BRUNSWICK – Hannah Wilkinson Chadwick, 88 formerly of Brunswick, ME died peacefully in her sleep November 12, 2012 at Bay Square in Yarmouth, ME after a long illness. Born in Weston MA, Chadwick was scion of a heritage going back to the Mayflower. 

Born Hannah Bradford Willis, she was daughter of Boston architect Harold B. Willis and Cornelia Fiske. She was predeceased by her brothers Harold of Weston, MA and Andrew of Weston, MA.  She was the niece of noted painter Gertrude Fiske.

Chadwick married Gilbert Wilkinson in 1943; he died in 1984 at age 62.  She later married Thomas Chadwick of Wiscasset, ME who died in 1993.

She attended Radcliffe College and graduated from Tufts University where she earned a BA in English.  She was a world traveler and enjoyed sailing, tennis and gardening at her Flye Point farm in Brooklin, ME.
 
Chadwick is survived by her children: Dave Wilkinson and wife Marilyn of Harpswell, ME; Hope MacDonald and husband Bob of Millinocket, ME; Dr. Bradford Wilkinson and wife Mary of Durham, CT;  ten grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

There will be a memorial service this summer in Brooklin, ME. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Friend Memorial Library, Brooklin, ME 04616. stetsonsfuneralhome.com
