HAMPDEN – Louis Andrew Ramsay III, 80, died Dec. 14, 2012, at the Maine Veterans Home. He was born March 6, 1932, in Jersey City, N.J., the son of Louis A. II and Kathryn T. (Whitney) Ramsay.
Louis worked in aviation more than 50 years for the U.S. Federal Government, including serving in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of Hampden Historical Society, MENSA and St. Matthew’s Roman Catholic Church. Louis was an avid reader and a computer geek. Louis was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Louis is survived by his wife of 60 years, Myrna (Horowitz) Ramsay; six children, 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
