BUCKSPORT – Wanda E. Coffin, 55, died peacefully Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at Blue Hill Memorial Hospital with her loving family and friends by her side. She was born Aug. 7, 1957, in Watertown, N.Y., the daughter of Jerry and Ann (Miller) Weirich.
Wanda was a beloved daughter, wife, mother and friend. She was a graphic designer who loved spending her free time doing any and all crafts.
She is survived by and will be sadly missed by her husband, Joseph E. Coffin of Bucksport; her mother, Ann Weirich of Bangor; two daughters, Sarah Gladu and husband, John Jr., of Orrington and Rachel Furth-Cassidy and husband, Charles, of Bangor; and two brothers, Jason Weirich and wife, Lindsay, and their children, Jackson, Lila and Maizy, of Orrington and Wayne Weirich and wife, Beth, of Glenburn. Wanda is also survived by brothers-in-law, Kenneth, Vinal and Robert Coffin; one sister-in-law, Betty Wells; and extended family, Caroline and Doug Alley, Donalyn, Connie, Patti, Beth and Kris. She was predeceased by her father, Jerry Weirich; and extended family, Sue and Vanessa. The family would like to extend special thanks to CancerCare of Maine, Blue Hill Memorial Hospital and Eastern Maine Medical Center Hospice.
Family and friends will gather for visitation 10 a.m. until the time of service noon Saturday, Dec. 22, at Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home, 28 Elm St., Bucksport, with Pastor Peter Remick officiating.
